Prince John

A unique cheese that checks all the boxes!

This washed-rind cheese has a soft, silky texture that delivers a mild, meaty, savory flavor accented with hints of fruit and nuts.

The King of England from 1199 to 1216, “Prince” John rightfully earned a less than friendly reputation. It’s not surprising that the fictional caricature of Prince John would share the negative traits of his namesake. Long story short, that’s why he got the stinky cheese.

Prince John is a Washed Rind Cheese. The color comes from 3 weeks of washing the cheese in a salt brine solution. This creates the perfect environment for this Cheese to form. Stinky, but smooth in texture it’s definitely a favorite among smelly cheese lovers!
